Give credit where credit is due

   I have been with Sterling Carpet One now for 8 years and one of my favorite perks to the job is that our owner Paula-has had plates made for kids since year 1. She would give me the paper template to go home to my kids with to have them color and then she would send them off to be turned into plates. I have memories of making my own as a kid but thought it was a lost art?!
   She not only has included my kids in this tradition but every employees kids from all three locations and I'm sure all her nieces and nephews galore!
Thanks Paula-these plates will be treasured for years to come!

Farmhouse...COLOR

Of course when talking farmhouse style these days only one name comes to mind for most people... Joanna Gaines. She has of course melted our hearts with her room designs and has us drooling over her paint colors! So I thought what better knowledge than her 25 paint line colors matched to benjamin moore colors! (Don't worry, you can thank me later) and please remember to use these images only for reference! Go into a benjamin moore dealer and look at the color IN PERSON, then take that color home and look at it in your lighting! How to choose the right color

Believe it or not, there are actually a few things to consider when trying to choose a paint color, for any room! 1. To each their own : choose a color because you like it  not because it's on trend or because I told you it's the right one.  You have to live there not me! Trends aren't always right  either, for example GRAY.  Grays have been trending for many years now but in the  perfect scenario they are paired with white trim and often  have a cooler feel to them.  Remember, look at the color choice in your lighting before painting. 2.
